To a poet, author, freedom fighter, a man with a jewel of a heart- Rabindranath Tagore!
Happy Birthday!

Through thy words I saw
the beauty of the world,
 through your finesse we recognized
and celebrated excellence.

Words penned by you,
flows through time, days and heart.
Oh maestro! Manifestation of a
greatness, of a legend!
You enriched your days and
continue to enhance ours
leaving behind to us your wonders.

But we haven’t forgotten
your sacrifices, your unyielding fight
for your soil. We remember your
Immense love, devotion for thy nation.
It is to your words the nation rises,
men salute- the anthem penned
 by you rhythms through our lips.

 India’s legend!  
We thank you for all the great things you have left for us.
