Thoughts flutter throughout the day. Few stay, few flit, few need to be celebrated. Thoughts are man’s gift, valuable enough to cherish for infinity. In a hope to immortalize those thoughts, I etch words onto this blog wishing all the way to carry them further into the world.

#20NaPoWriMo: I'm a missing person
Image does not belong to me
Put out the posters
flyers that ask about me
call the cops immediately
I'm a missing person.
Two days, four hours,
some minutes
since I was last seen.
Everyone is anxious
everyone is glancing at the telephone
maybe a call will bring me back.
Home is where I went missing from
somewhere near the playground
with my toy spade still
clutched in my hand.
Put out the posters
flyers that ask about me
call the cops immediately
I'm a missing person.
I was a good child who
always stayed home
Where would have I gone?
Mystery for the detective.
Police scan the area
question friends and foe
no one knows anything
no strange incidents happened.
Put out the posters
flyers that ask about me
call the cops immediately
I'm a missing person.
I might come home one day
when the cops find me
toy spade still clutched in my hand
for I cried without it.
For now, I'm a missing person.
